Manic Monday Lockdown Challenge; Use What You Have

Join me for the first Manic Monday Lockdown Challenge!

Happy Mail From Stamp4Joy

Like I mentioned before, I thought we could focus on using supplies we already have on hand for the month of April. To that end, I'm announcing a fun contest we can all participate in.

I will give you an image of a project from one of the Stampin' Up! catalogs, along with a similar project I made using supplies that I have on hand.

The challenge is that then YOU will have until the following Sunday night to come up with your own version of the project using the supplies YOU have on hand. It doesn't have to be exact, but just use it as a starting point.

Submit a photo of your creation in the Comments section on my Facebook page using THIS LINK. I will assign each submission a number, and the following Monday I will do a random drawing for the winner, who will then receive some Happy Mail — a small sampling of craft supplies from me. I'm planning to do this over the next four weeks. Everyone can play — you can enter as many times as you'd like! — but I can only select a winner from those currently in the U.S. No demonstrators, please.

Let's go!

This photo on the right comes from Page 29 of the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog.

The project we're using for this first weekly challenge is the card on the left in the photo. It's a very simple card and can be recreated for any occasion in any color palette using a small sampling of supplies you already have on hand!

Here's What I Did
Manic Monday Lockdown Challenge Week 1 Project - www.Stamp4Joy.com

On the left is my version of the Week 1 challenge card. It features a few items from the exquisite Peaceful Poppies Suite Bundle: the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set, the beautiful Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper, and the Whisper White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. It's all on an Old Olive Card Stock base. I used VersaMark Ink and White Stampin' Emboss Powder for the card sentiment.

Go ahead and recreate this simple card for Week 1 of the Manic Monday Lockdown Challenge. Submit a picture of it HERE before Sunday night, April 12th Easter. Remember, you can enter as many times as you like — more chances to win!

Again, I'll do the drawing on the following Monday. Be sure to tell your friends, but remember, winners can only be U.S. residents, and No Demonstrators, please.
