DIY Birthday Cards for Mom; Tulip Birthday Card

DIY Birthday Cards for Mom -

Would you like to make perfect DIY birthday cards for mom? Well, you can't go wrong with the Flowering Tulips Bundle and the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper. Who wouldn't love a handmade tulip birthday card?

The vibrant, gorgeous colors and designs of these paper patterns are so uplifting, especially on dreary winter days. And we've had a few of them in the Pacific Northwest lately! This paper is one of my very favorites from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. Even my son thinks this collection is beautiful!

All I needed was to lay a small strip of the paper along the left edge of the top layer to add some colorful charm. This is a great way to make your designer paper — and your dollars — stretch!

After I stamped the flowers, stems, leaves, and the grass I cut them out using their coordinating dies. I laid them out and glued them to the center of the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Since the same stamp set also includes a great birthday greeting you won't have to go searching for the perfect sentiment. 🙂

To give it a final special touch I added some of the cutest little brass butterflies around the flowers. These little darlings are so sweet! I love that they are adhesive-backed and ready to apply.

Pick up this collection today and you'll be able to make a few DIY birthday cards for mom, sisters, friends… anyone, really!
