Thinking of You Cards

Thinking of You Cards - www.Stamp4Joy.com

You just can't have too many thinking of you cards on hand. I'm sure they would be a welcome treat for anyone who receives one. You can send them on to your family, coworkers, and friends to let them know they're in your thoughts.

Today's simple card idea focuses on a couple of patterns found in the beautiful Flowering Fields 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper packet. Have I mentioned yet how much I love this collection? 🙂 The beautiful designs featured here are two sides of the same paper… it makes for easy coordination!

I used one of the dies from the Basic Borders Dies to create a subtle and graceful decorative edge. I repeated the same edge with a bit of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock to give some separation between the two patterns.

The card sentiment came from the Flowering Tulips stamp set. If you like this stamp set you might want to check out the coordinating Tulips Dies. And if you purchase them both in the Flowering Tulips Bundle, you'll save 10% on the two together!

I stamped the greeting in Rich Razzleberry ink on white cardstock. Notice how well the ink and cardstock (and designer paper) all work together! The decorative circle from the Tasteful Labels Dies was used to to cut it out. Then I mounted it on a slightly larger Rich Razzleberry circle that I cut using a circle from the Layering Circles Dies.

Why not make up a bunch of thinking of you cards for seniors you know? I'm certain they would appreciate being recognized and knowing you have them in your thoughts.

Would you like more inspiration? Here's a thinking of you card I made for my son back in 2012!
