Unique Christmas card, quick and easy.
Are you looking for a quick and easy way to design a creative Christmas card? Look no further! With just a few supplies you probably already have on hand you can make stunning cards that will impress your friends and family.
Hint: Find that leftover Christmas patterned paper from last year. This is the perfect opportunity to put it to good use!
Creating the card
I started with a standard 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ card base, so cut your designer paper into a 4-1/4″ square. This will ensure a perfect fit in the corners of your card.
Now, here's the fun part. Instead of cutting the paper from corner to corner, try cutting it at an angle. Leave about an inch or so on each side to create two unique designer paper pieces to create two different cards. Talk about being efficient! Choose one of the pieces and securely glue it into the corner of your choice on the front of the card.
To add some extra flair, why not embellish the edge? You can use coordinating cardstock, designer paper, ribbon, or even something fancy like pearls! Let your creativity run wild and use whatever you have on hand to make your holiday card truly one-of-a-kind.
For the card greeting I decided to use the Snowman Magic stamp set. It features a large Christmas sentiment that fills up the white space beautifully. To add a touch of sparkle, I attached a rhinestone in the center of a snowflake. It's amazing how a small detail can make a big difference!
Please note that the products I used in this Christmas card design are retired, but you might be able to still find the gently used stamp set on my Retired Rubber Stamps page. But don't worry if you don't have the exact same supplies. The beauty of creating this unique Christmas card is that you can adapt and use whatever materials you have available.
So why not get a head start on your holiday stamping? Dig out those gorgeous papers and let your imagination soar as you create your own unique holiday cards. Your loved ones will be thrilled to receive such personalized and heartfelt greetings this next holiday season.
