Season’s Greetings on Christmas Card Sunday

Sending season's greetings to friends and family is a timeless tradition, and what better way to do it than with a handmade Christmas card? The retired stamp set Snowflake Sentiments, combined with Textured Chic Designer Paper and a die from the Painted Labels Dies provide the perfect tools for creating a simple, elegant card.

To begin, select a piece of designer paper as the background for the card.  I chose the one with subtle

snowflakes on it because… well… Christmas! This paper collection features a subtle yet stunning impression of texture that adds depth and interest to your homemade card designs.

The retired Snowflake Sentiments stamp set includes a variety of snowflake designs that can be used to embellish a card.  They would look fabulous embossed in white on darker cardstock.  Here I just embossed the Season's Greetings sentiment in white on some Soft Suede Cardstock and then used one of the dies from Painted Labels Dies to cut it out.

You can find this gently used set for sale HERE.

You could also add some ribbon or a few small rhinestones or pearls to the snowflakes for added sparkle.  I wanted to keep it simple.

The result is a lovely Christmas card that is sure to bring joy to anyone who receives it. The combination of the elegant Textured Chic Designer Paper and the beautifully embossed bold holiday sentiment creates a clean and simple, unique and special Christmas card.  What a wonderful way to spread holiday cheer to treasured friends and family.

Here's a snowflake Christmas card featuring the same stamp set and the coordinating dies.
