Today I was looking for some easy hand made birthday cards to make. I started out with my Basic Pattern Decorative Masks and some of my Blending Brushes.
This card composition came together quickly! I first had to select which mask I wanted to use. It comes with four different designs, and I chose the leaf pattern. By choosing more neutral colors it means I don't have to decide in advance if these will be used as feminine or masculine birthday cards. I selected Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, and Coastal Cabana ink. I didn't apply it too heavily, and I faded it out across the card. That eliminates the need to be exact!

I used Coastal Cabana ink on white cardstock, and then cut it out using one of the Tasteful Labels Dies. I attached it to the card front with some dimensionals.
To add a little special touch that's not too sparkly I adhered a few Genial Gems, too.
