Handmade Holiday Card Ideas - www.Stamp4Joy.com

I'm a little behind in coming up with my handmade holiday card ideas. How about you? It's not too late, though. If you have a lot of cards to make you can come up with a fairly simple Christmas card design that's still beautiful.

This cute holiday card idea was made with products from the Snowflake Splendor Suite.

Beginning with the Snowflake Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set, I stamped a few of the smaller snowflake images randomly in Night of Navy Ink across the front of the card base. This is a great solution if you don't have or you don't want to use designer paper on your card. It can keep your costs down, too!

The top white layer was embossed using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder to add some cute subtle snowflake texture.

A large snowflake was cut out of Night of Navy cardstock using a die from the So Many Snowflakes Dies and placed in the upper left corner. I attached one of the Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems to the center. It really does looks great!

Finally I embossed the Merry Christmas greeting in white on Night of Navy cardstock, and then cut around it using my Paper Snips. If you want to make this card faster you could just eliminate trimming around the words.

Once you have the Snowflake Splendor Suite (which you can use over and over again), you can make over 90 versions of this card with just two packages of Whisper White Cardstock and one package of Night of Navy Cardstock. That works out to be about 31 cents per card. You can't beat that! Of course, if you don't already have the embossing power you'll need to add that, too.
