Cute Easy Christmas Card Ideas - www.Stamp4Joy.com

As I mentioned yesterday, I'm a bit behind on making Christmas cards. I decided I needed to step it up a bit. Are you finding yourself in the same boat? Here's are some easy Christmas cards to make at home… just let the paper do the work for you!

How tos.

First I grabbed three coordinating sheets of 6″x6″ designer paper. That's the great thing about Stampin' Up's designer paper, the patterns in each collection coordinate beautifully with each other. They also match perfectly with our inks, cardstock, and accessories, too! I pulled these from the Gingerbread & Peppermint 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Pack.

The three sheets were each trimmed down to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and then cut in various sizes. I made sure to cut each paper design in the same dimensions so I could mix and match the patterns on the card front. So easy!

I stamped the greeting from the coordinating stamp set Frosted Gingerbread in red ink, and then cut it with a circle die from the Layering Circles Dies. A scalloped circle die was used to create a mat for the sentiment out of Real Red Cardstock.

To make things move along quicker I did everything in assembly line fashion. First I cut all the patterned paper and glued it to the card fronts. Then I stamped all the sentiments. The last thing I did was cut out the sentiments and mats with the dies and glued them together and then affixed them to the front of the card. Simple as can be!

I've selected a few other patterns from this collection to come up with more cute easy Christmas card ideas in different colors. Once I have a few minutes to put them together I'll be sure to show you how they came out.

You'll have some paper left over after you make these cards. Why not make some unique Christmas cards with your paper scraps?
