Christmas Greetings for Sister
I think I'll give this Happy Christmas card to one of my sisters this season. I like how it turned out. What do you think?
To save on postage I usually just hand out my holiday cards to family when we all get together for Thanksgiving dinner. I try to mail the rest of my handmade Christmas cards right before Thanksgiving, too, which means I'm a bit behind. I think I need to step it up!
The neutral palette of the Peaceful Place Designer Paper collection makes the perfect backdrop for this card. Beautiful, frosty designs, but nothing too distracting from the snowman. An assortment of Stampin' Blends were used to color in the image to make it “pop.” And I used a Real Red marker to color the Christmas sentiment stamp before stamping on a scrap piece of white cardstock.
I used my So Many Snowflakes Dies to cut out a few snowflakes. I laid them out in a bit of a triangle across the card front, and then affixed a pearl to the center of each.
