Cards For Friends: Show Your Friends You Care

Cards For Friends - Stamp4Joy.com

When you make cards for friends it can be a fun and creative way to show your appreciation and love.

Do you ever feel like your friendships need a little more pizzazz?  Sure, you hang out and chat and stuff, but what about when you're not together? That's where making cards comes in!  Create something special and personalized for your friend to let them know that you're thinking about them even when you're not together.  Plus, it's just plain fun to make something with your own two hands.

Let's Begin

Gather all the necessary materials. For this card project we will need the Eden's Garden stamp set, Eden Dies, Texture Chic Designer Paper, and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.

Once you have everything ready, it's time to get creative. To start, I used an Evening Evergreen card base as it matches the designer paper well.  Next, select your favorite pattern from the Texture Chic Designer Paper and attach it to the card base. Feel free to experiment with different patterns or collections to create a unique background.

For the card sentiment, I used the Eden's Garden stamp set and stamped it in Evening Evergreen Ink on Petal Pink cardstock.  Using the smaller rectangle die, I cut out the sentiment and a matching one from Evening Evergreen cardstock.  I then pieced together the outer edge of the Evening Evergreen cardstock with the Petal Pink greeting piece like a puzzle.  Then I glued it over a banner die cut from the Distressed Gold Paper.  It may be difficult to see in the photo.

Finally, if you want to make your card stand out more just add additional embellishments to give it a special touch.

Creating cards for friends is not only a fun and creative way to express your gratitude, but it also provides an opportunity to showcase your creative skills. So grab your supplies, let your imagination run wild, and enjoy the process!
