in your life.  For this masculine card I used a few sheets that work perfectly together. This paper is perfect for creating a card with a retro feel that will really stand out.  You could even add some color to the images if you want!

Designing the Card

To create my card I started by cutting two similar paper patterns for the card front, with a strip of a motorcycle wheel pattern between them.  I adhered them to a coordinated black card base. I then added a strip of Pumpkin Pie cardstock across the right side of the bottom of the card, stamped with the sentiment in black.  Some “flames” were added along the left edge.  Adding a bit of color helps to break up the patterns and create a bit of drama and interest.

Next, I just die cut the motorcycle from one of the papers to add to the front of the card.  Easy enough!

I love the level of detail in this paper and stamp set, which really allows you to customize your embellishments to suit your needs.  I'm thinking of adding some red accessories to the motorcycle next time!

Overall, I'm really happy with how this handmade card turned out. The bold, retro-inspired designer paper and detail in the paper and stamps really make a statement. And the card is sure to be appreciated by any motorcycle enthusiast. Whether creating a card for Father's Day, a birthday, or just because, this collection is perfect to rev up your card making!

Here's a motorcycle birthday card you may have missed using the same collection.
