This week's Manic Monday Lockdown Challenge is based off a simple card found on Page 64 of the Stampin' Up! January – June 2020 Mini Catalog. It's the top left sample shown in the picture above. Since it's mostly designer paper it's super easy!
What is the Manic Monday Lockdown Challenge?
- I’ll give you an image of a project from one of the Stampin’ Up! catalogs, along with a similar project I made using supplies that I have on hand.
- You'll have until the following Sunday night to come up with your own project using supplies YOU have on hand. It doesn’t have to be exact, but just use the sample as a starting point.
- Submit a photo of your creation in the Comments section on my Facebook page before Sunday night using THIS LINK. If you have trouble doing it, email me a picture at Rebecca@Stamp4Joy.com and I will post it for you.
- Each submission will be assigned a number. The following Monday I'll do a random drawing, and the winner will receive a sampling of craft supplies from me. (Sorry, U.S. only.)
I’m planning to do this each week through April. Everyone can play — and you can enter as many times as you’d like! — but I can only select a winner from those currently residing in the U.S. No demonstrators, please.
NOTE: No one has entered either of the previous two Manic Monday Lockdown Challenges. That means you have a very good chance to win! 🙂
This Week's Project
My project this week starts with a large section of a pattern from the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper collection. What could be more beautiful than this? The width is a half inch smaller than my card base. I cut it just a hair shorter from top to bottom because I didn't want it hanging over the edge.
The card sentiment came from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. I stamped and embossed it on a scrap piece of designer paper from the same paper collection in white. It's mounted on a scrap of Old Olive card stock that I trimmed down to the size I wanted. Before I attached it to the card front I laid down some Whisper White Baker's Twine underneath.
