With Sympathy Condolence Card

Symptahy CardsWhen I sit down to stamp I don't usually think about making a condolence card, which is why I never have one on hand when I need one.  Thankfully I don't need one often, but it would be nice to have some made up ahead of time because being creative isn't really at the top of my mind during those sad times.

This card is made from Pink Pirouette and Basic Black card stock, but it's hard to see the pink in this picture.  I used stamps from the Flowering Flourishes and Loving Thoughts stamp sets for the triple layer technique, and then added some pearls.

Schedule a party with me and make this card!

  1. Just love the tripple layer technique that you have done. I don’t live in the US so, won’t be able to schedule a party to make it, but is there another way I could learn how to do this technique.
    Thank you

    1. Hi, Kaitlin!

I do have my Inner Circle that anyone can sign up for, even those outside the U.S. It has two videos every month, each video showcasing a different technique.

As with most techniques, once you know how to do it it’s not really hard at all.

For the technique I highlighted today, you would cut each successive piece of the same color card stock at about 1″ less than the last. Lay them one on top of the other (might want to use a small amount of adhesive to keep from moving) and stamp them all together. Then take them apart and mount each of them on coordinating card stock. Then you mount each layered piece on top of the next layer, being sure to line up the images.

      Does that make sense?

Good luck. And please feel free to share your creation with us! 🙂
