If you're like me, you're always in search of ideas for masculine cards. I think this card design would work well for anyone.
The stamp set Campology, a collection of camping and outdoor images, works great on a card for a man. And you won't have to search for an appropriate sentiment because the set has four coordinating greetings included!
Using the Sun Prints Designer Paper collection gave me the idea for what ink and cardstock colors would work well with the patterns included. That's why I chose to stamp the trees and sentiments in Starry Sky Ink, one of the 2022-2024 In Colors. They were stamped on a very subtle Gray Granite pattern and then cut out using a Stitched Rectangle Die. I selected a leafy sun prints patterned paper for the layer underneath.
I felt like doing something a little different for the sentiment. The double-flag die from All That Dies was used to cut out a couple flags from the same subtle pattern. My Starry Sky Stampin' Write Marker was used to ink up each word one at a time and stamped on a flag. I then layered them over a circle die that I cut out from a Starry Sky paper in the collection and tucked it under the right side of the trees layer.
This was really a pretty easy and fast card to put together. I just mounted each layer on a slightly large piece of Starry Sky Cardstock to tie everything together.
Any kind of nature greeting cards would work well for masculine cards. Here's a teacher thank you card I made from the same designer paper collection.
