I've been making my dad and son birthday cards, trying to decide what I'd like to send. It's always good to have extra cards around that are suitable for a man, so the time certainly isn't wasted.
Here's an easy card that doesn't require a ton of supplies on hand to make. You could even make it simpler by leaving off the tag and embellishments of the brads and button and just adding a birthday greeting along the bottom.
I used Sahara Sand card stock for the base and the focal image, and then Basic Black and some Old Olive patterned designer paper from the Brights Designer Paper Stacks Collection. Tbe birds on the branch is from Serene Silhouettes and the greeting is from Fabulous Phrases.
I just adore the Naturals Designer Buttons, especially the large two-toned one featured on this card.
