Do you give out a lot of birthday cards every year? Why not make your own birthday card for those special occasions?

If you've followed my blog for a while now you know how much I LOVE black and white paper. As soon as I saw the True Love Designer Paper in the upcoming January through June 2021 Mini Catalog, you can bet that went right on my list! 🙂 You can see the 12 gorgeous patterns in the photos on the right.
As you can tell, the designer paper in this birthday card design isn't black and white. I used a Sponge Brayer and my Blushing Bride Ink Pad to apply a soft shade of pink to the paper. Such an easy way to subtly customize and change the look of these beautiful patterns.
And a New Stamp Set
As you may have guessed, the dragonflies came from the new Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set. I stamped them in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and the colored them with my Stampin' Blends. Although you can't see it in the picture, I used my Clear Wink of Stella Brush to add some glittery sheen to the wings. So pretty!
Oh, and I almost forgot! The large dragonfly was punched out using the new Dragonflies Punch, which you'll be able to buy separately or with the stamp set in the Dragonfly Garden Bundle! And it's so much easier than fussy cutting.
The Quite Curvy Bundle was used to stamp the birthday card sentiment and cut the decorative edges.
