Make a simple handmade card using the all new Magnolia Suite.
Two of the items used from this suite were the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper Pack.
Choosing different paper patterns to use on the card front was simple because the beautiful designs and colors coordinate effortlessly.
Each strip of designer paper was cut to 3-1/2″ x 1-1/2″. They were placed about 1/8″ apart and then glued onto the Mossy Meadow Card Stock, which was cut to 4-7/8″ x 3-3/4″. This whole layered piece was then mounted onto the center front of the Whisper White card base.
I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White Card Stock in Mossy Meadow Classic Ink. Afterwards the banner die from the Smooth Sailing Dies was used to cut it out. It fits perfectly around the greeting! You can find this die set — and more! — on Page 195 of the current 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Catalog.
I wanted the sentiment to stand out a bit and so I used a Stamping Sponge on the edges with Mossy Meadow Ink. I attached a few Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up off the card front.
