Homemade Thank You Card Idea

I think the white-on-white of this homemade thank you card idea gives it quite a delicate feel.  Then the vibrant colors of the flowers and card sentiment really makes the card pop!

The first layer up from the card base was dry embossed using the Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder, which I absolutely adore!  You might have guessed that since I use it a lot!  🙂  It creates so much beautiful texture.

I used my Blending Brushes to apply some color to the back of a piece of the Layering Designs Vellum before attaching it underneath the Stitched Rectangle Die frame.  This vellum is so pretty, and comes with either black print or white print for different options and looks.  The vellum frame was placed in the center of the card front over the embossed layer.

Next up are the flowers.  Aren't they beautiful?  The stamps come from Hand-Penned Petals, and then they were cut out using the coordinating Penned Flowers Dies.  I used my Stampin' Blends to add the color.

Note:  You have just a couple weeks left to pick this pair up in the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle and save 10%!

The greeting was created by embossing the Thanks in white on a rectangle of Poppy Parade cardstock.  A bit of fancy loops was made using a die from the Painted Labels and then cut to size and glued along the bottom of the card greeting.

Finally, for the finishing touch to my homemade thank you card idea I added a sparkly ribbon bow.
