Today's homemade Christmas card started with this week's sketch from i Love Card Sketches and Ornamental Pine.
I masked off part of the focal piece with some Post-It notes and then sponged the blue across the top to create the “landscape.” I stamped the pine branch for the foreground and then attached stamped and cut out pine cones with Stampin' Dimensionals. The background is one of the patterns from the All is Calm Designer Paper Collection.
This stamp set is right on par with Lovely as a Tree… very versatile! Seriously, how many different ways can you use this simple yet beautiful set? I know I'll be making lots of cards with this set long after Christmas is over.
