Handmade Winter Greeting Card, Feels Like Frost

Handmade Winter Greeting Card Idea - www.Stamp4Joy.com

Today's handmade winter greeting card starts with a beautiful design that you'll find in the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper collection. Trust me, you'll want to stock up on this gorgeous 6″ x 6″ assortment of exquisite photographic winter scenes! Besides the beautiful frosty scenes featured on one side, you'll also find lustrous silver patterns on the other. I've already picked up three packages, but I may have to stock up on a few more to have on hand before they go away.

I used a few dies from the Stitched Rectangles to cut out all the layers, skipping one or two sizes each time. The largest layer was cut from Night of Navy Cardstock. I think the double framing the different layers create works really well because it helps to highlight the lovely scene on the paper. What do you think?

You probably have any number of card greetings on hand that would work well with this paper. For this handmade card design I used the “Believe” greeting from the adorable Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set. I created a delicate bow made from the 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and attached it on the left of the greeting using a Mini Glue Dot. Then I attached the sentiment layer using a few Stampin' Dimensionals.

Check out this unique handmade gift idea if you're considering making a few gifts this holiday season.
