Handmade Sympathy Card

Handmade Sympathy Card - blog.Stamp4Joy.comUnfortunately, I find myself in need of a handmade sympathy card. For this one I decided to modify a card I found on Pinterest made by Lisa Young using Sheltering Tree.  It's simple and clean and quick to make.

I used an acrylic block for the watercolor background.  I spritzed it with some water, then dropped a few drops from my Marina Mist Ink Refill and Old Olive Refill ink refills.  I spritzed again and used a paper towel to pick up the excess water and ink, then stamped onto my Whisper White card front.

Once it had dried a bit I stamped the tree and the greeting from You've Got This, both in Tuxedo Black ink.  This was then mounted onto a Basic Black card base.  I glued a Whisper White piece to the inside to write on.
