For today's handmade Christmas card I pulled out the retired Deck the Halls designer paper collection. It's so beautiful on its own.
Did you notice there's no stamping on this homemade card? The sentiment is embedded right in the patterned paper. I don't think you can get any easier than that!
The fancy bow was made from Crumb Cake Seam Binding. I will be adding a video at Papercrafts Toolbox later this week on how to create one. I looped a bunch of Linen Thread beneath it to give it a more shabby chic look. Unfortunately, the Crumb Cake Seam Binding is on the retired list and they have already sold out of it.
The inspiration for this card came from this week's card sketch at i Love Card Sketches, I just turned it on its side. Come on over and try out this easy card layout. It's never too early to get started on those handmade Christmas card designs!
