Handmade Baby Card

Handmade Baby Card - blog.Stamp4Joy.comHello Honey is the dominant color used on this project, and the name seems quite suitable for a handmade baby card.

Isn't that little guy so sweet?  He (or she) is out of the Occasions Catalog, a single stamp called Baby Bumblebee.  Well, I actually cut the stamp in two to have the greeting separate from the image, so I just mounted it on one end of the wood piece,

The paper patterns are from the Sweet Dreams Designer Paper collection, and look beautiful with the Hello Honey ink and Quilted Cotton Ribbon.  I  LOVE how Stampin' Up! colors are consistent and work so well throughout their product line!  I wove in a bit of Whisper White Seam Binding with the quilted ribbon.  I think it looks great!  How about you?

The 2-1/2″ Circle Punch and the nested Circles Collection were used to cut out the bumblebee, and I used the Banner Punch to create the flag edge on the sentiment piece.
