A handmade birthday card for dad is simple and fun to create using the Geared Up Garage stamp set from the new Occasions Catalog.
Turn off that blindspot detection because you're not going to need it here! You'll be cruising right along with this amazing stamp set and the coordinating Garage Gears Thinlits Dies. Pick up both the stamp set and the thinlits dies together in the Geared Up Garage Bundle and you can save 10%! The entire Classic Garage Suite is perfect for making masculine birthday cards, scrapbook page layouts, Fathers Day cards, and more.
Here are the colors I used to create this handmade birthday card:
Stampin' Blends will help you to color in your images beautifully. Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends were used here to add color to the car. It reminds me of my old '69 GTO I used to own (and loved!) — a gas guzzler for sure, but it looked so good! — which is why it's yellow. But now that I think about it, the top of the car was black. Oh, well. 🙂
Tuxedo Black, Real Red, and Gray Granite were the inks used for stamping the rest of the images and background.
