Handmade Appreciation Card; Gratitude Cards

Handmade Appreciation Card - www.Stamp4Joy.com

There are many people who deserve to receive a handmade appreciation card. You could make a gratitude card for a teacher, nurse or doctor, even the cashier at your grocery store.

In the United States November is a time when we stop and give thought to what we have to be grateful for. It's been a challenging time for all of us this year. Why not bring a small amount of cheer to someone by sending gratitude cards expressing how much you care. It may be a modest gesture, but I believe bringing a smile to someone's face is never a small achievement.

This color palette begins with a classic and understated combo of Night of Navy and Whisper White. The gorgeous pattern in the designer paper came from the In Good Taste paper collection. The images and card sentiment came from the Country Home stamp set, perfect for expressing a note of gratitude. It has an assortment of perfect sayings for this.

Finally, a mixture of different shades of Stampin' Blends were used to color in the images.

I usually forget to mention that I add a lighter layer of cardstock to the inside of darker card bases. This makes it easier to write (or stamp) a sentiment on the inside of the card.
