Offhand, I can think of four ways to use this handmade card. You could make it as a:
- birthday card
- thank you card
- get well card
- thinking of you card
Can you think of any others?
Of course, if you change out the card sentiment then you'll have even more.
This sweet card idea used the Bottled Happiness stamp set and the coordinating Vintage Bottle Punch.
Hint: You can save 10% by purchasing these together in the Bottled Happiness Bundle.
Making the Card
First I stamped the flowers in Fresh Freesia ink and the greenery in Parakeet Party. I also stamped it on some scrap paper and fussy cut out some of the flowers to pop up on the card front over the coordinating images, and to place one along side the bottle.
The bottle was stamped in Pool Party and Coastal Cabana ink, punched out, and then popped it up on the framed part.
The “Sending Cheer” sentiment was stamped and then cut out using one of the tag dies from the Teacup Dies. I used a Mini Glue Dot to hold the bow in place, which I created with the White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
All the paper patterns are in Parakeet Party and came from the 2022-2024 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper packet. I thought I'd trim the bottom edge of the lower pattern using one of the border dies from the Basic Border Dies. I think it gives it more of a tablecloth feel and the back stripes then look like wallpaper. I'm not sure how successful I was. What do you think?
I love the dimensional look of this card design.
So, I mentioned four ways to use this handmade card. Did you come up with any others? Let me know.
Here's a birthday card for a friend I made many years ago. Check it out!
