Faux Patina Thank You Card

Faux Patina Thank You Card - blog.Stamp4Joy.comToday's thank you card features the faux patina technique, which gives the impression of aged metal.  Love it!  I used the Lovely Lace embossing folder for the embossed background design. The card making template came from today's card sketch at Mojo Monday.

The top pieces were cut into squares, and then I applied a slightly larger strip along the bottom.  I tore and distressed the edges to keep with the vintage look.  I just applied some of the same ink colors to the Lost Lagoon greeting piece, and then embossed the greeting from One Big Meaning in white.

We're focusing on Big Shot techniques over at Papercrafts Toolbox this month.  Join today and you won't miss a thing!
