Fall Thinking of You Card; Make a Handmade Card for Fall

Fall Thinking of You Card - www.Stamp4Joy.com

It's all about the texture on this simple fall thinking of you card.

I LOVE my embossing folders because they can add so much dimension and texture to your handmade creations. This card design features two embossing folders, both of them designed to give really deep and detailed impressions. The first embossing folder is the Tin Tile 3D, which I used to create the larger background layer. The second is the elegant Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, which was used on the smaller Very Vanilla piece.

I used the Seasonal Layers Dies to cut out the leaf background in Crushed Curry Card Stock and the leaf detailed layer in Cajun Craze.

The greeting came from Colorful Seasons. And can I just say, I absolutely adore my Stamparatus! I always keep it right at my work station, ready to go. When I stamped the greeting I didn't have the “you” inked up well enough. All I had to do was re-ink the image and stamp it again. No more having to turn the card stock over or waste it all together!

I put a flag on the end of the card greeting using the Banner Triple Punch, and then tied a small bow using the ribbon from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Pack. I then attached the leaf and greeting using Stampin' Dimensionals.

This fall thinking of you card was easy to put together in a jiff. Simple, but I really think it's beautiful. How about you?
