Common Stamping Mistake – Has This Happened to You?

Have you ever made this common stamping mistake?

Common Stamping Mistake -

Has this common stamping mistake ever happened to you?

After all these years I still have to be very careful that this doesn't happen, and yet I'm a little embarrassed to say that it still gets by me once in a while.

My first thought was, “Well, no problem, I'll just reverse the greeting and all will be fine.” That would work with many handmade cards, but in this case the flowers in the pattern paper design are upside down, too. So I had to cut off the front of the card and attach it to another card base… the right way this time! 🙂

Good Morning Magnolia and the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper were paired for this homemade card design. You can pick them up individually or as part of the fabulous Magnolia Lane Suite Bundle.

The Magnolia Lane Suite Bundle includes:

* Good Morning Magnolia Cling Stamp Set (10% off)
* Magnolia Memory Dies (10% off)
* Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder
* Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper
* Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards & Envelopes
* Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack
* Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack
* Magnolia Lane Cork Embellishments
* Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack

Don't forget, for every $50 you spend in my Online Store in July, you'll get a $5 Bonus Days coupon code that can be used August 1–31, 2019. Common Stampin Mistake - Good Morning Magnolia -

Although two different paper patterns were affixed to a sheet of Basic Black Cardstock, I especially love the linen look of that striped paper. I cut the flower patterned paper into thirds to give it a little interest across the top — or bottom! 😉 — of the card.

I really like the Linen Ribbon that comes in the Magnolia Lane Combo Pack, don't you?

The card sentiment was stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then cut out using the Layering Ovals Dies for the greeting and the scalloped layer underneath.

I hope you see that no matter what common stamping mistake you make, there's most likely any number of ways to correct it. And remember, glitter goes a long way! LOL!
