Has this common stamping mistake ever happened to you?
After all these years I still have to be very careful that this doesn't happen, and yet I'm a little embarrassed to say that it still gets by me once in a while.
My first thought was, “Well, no problem, I'll just reverse the greeting and all will be fine.” That would work with many handmade cards, but in this case the flowers in the pattern paper design are upside down, too. So I had to cut off the front of the card and attach it to another card base… the right way this time! 🙂

Although two different paper patterns were affixed to a sheet of Basic Black Cardstock, I especially love the linen look of that striped paper. I cut the flower patterned paper into thirds to give it a little interest across the top — or bottom! 😉 — of the card.

The card sentiment was stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then cut out using the Layering Ovals Dies for the greeting and the scalloped layer underneath.
I hope you see that no matter what common stamping mistake you make, there's most likely any number of ways to correct it. And remember, glitter goes a long way! LOL!
