Create a clean and simple Fathers Day card with just a little bit of designer paper and a greeting.
I cut three strips from one of the patterns of designer paper from the new 2022-2024 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper pack. These colors are my favorite new color collection in a long time! They were cut at 1-3/8″ x 4″ each. The Fathers Day sentiment came from the new He's All That stamp set.
Then I decided to make a birthday card using the same paper pack, but featuring all five of the new In Colors. These strips were cut at 3/4″ x 4″ and I used the pattern on the opposite side of the one that I used on the Fathers Day card on the right. This time the birthday sentiment came from Flowering Tulips.
Another idea for making a clean and simple Fathers Day card would be to use other shapes, such as circles or squares. The point is that your handmade card ideas don't always have to be complex and difficult to be a hit. And they don't have to take an inordinate amount of time to create, either. Grab some fabulous paper and just cut them into strips or other repetitive shapes to make them quickly!
