Clean and Simple Cards

Clean and Simple Cards - blog.Stamp4Joy.comToday I thought I'd focus on super easy clean and simple cards.  This would be an easy kids craft… you could even eliminate the layers.  Change out the image of the flower to something they'd love.  How about Zoo Babies or Boys Will Be Boys?

In fact, I might just order the Boys Will Be Boys set and try it out!  I can see selling a lot of those handmade cards at the holiday craft fairs.

I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the greeting and flowers, which both came from Bloom With Hope, a beautiful and versatile set you can snag for FREE just by hostessing an in-home party or catalog show.  Then I just used one of the Project Life Journaling Pens to draw the lines by freehand to create the “frame.”

Clean and Simple Cards Stepped Up - blog.Stamp4Joy.comTo “step it up” I created another card, but this time I colored in the images using my Blendabilities markers.  Still clean and simple, just jazzed up with a bit of color.

There's a few other differences between the “stepped up” version and the clean and simple card version.  Care to guess?

If you can guess three or more right I'll put your name in a drawing… winner will get the stepped-up card mailed to them, ready to use!  You must use the Comment section to submit your guess before Saturday morning.  I'll draw the winner Saturday morning from all the correct entries.  I'd also love to hear which card you prefer, so let me know below!

  1. Differences are extra stem or line in between flowers, layers are different colors, happy birthday in the center, dots at the end of lines. Love the card, simple but gets the meaning across.

    1. Sandi, you got them all right! Send me your snail mail and I’ll get this card right off to you. 🙂
