Last year I started to devote most Sundays to homemade Christmas Card ideas… I call it Christmas Card Sunday! So, if you're struggling around the holidays to come up with your handmade card designs, well, now you'll know where to look. 🙂 The idea, of course, is not to wait until November, but to start rubber stamping Christmas cards quite a bit ahead of time!
I wanted to create a Christmas card using the Merry Moments Designer Paper, and decided to make the focal point the cheerful holiday message from the Bright & Beautiful retired stamp set. You can find this set for sale on my Retired Rubber Stamps Page.
You'll notice I also mounted the greeting on some retired Champagne Glimmer paper, along with a few banners below.
So, what do you think, is it too early to start thinking about your homemade Christmas card ideas? Let me know by leaving a comment.
Have a great day!

Great card and a very good idea. Plus this plan would encourage me to use my retired stash and not be caught up in the frenzy of new products at Christmas time. Great idea!
Exactly, Sharon! Of course, I still get caught up in the frenzy of beautiful new products at Christmas, but I’m NOT caught in the frenzy of trying to come up with handmade Christmas card designs at the last minute. Plus, I get bored making 50 or 100 of the same card, so I like to come up with a variety of Christmas card ideas.
