Christmas Card Designs For Christmas Card Sunday

You can create beautiful Christmas card designs with the retired pairing of Toile Christmas and the Christmas Cardinal Dies.  There's a gently used set of these for sale on my Retired Rubber Stamps page under the Stamps & Coordinating Thinlits/Dies section.

It's Christmas Card Sunday  again.  I decided to feature this bundle from my retired Christmas stamps for my homemade Christmas card this week.  The bird image is so easy to color in because the artists have already done the shading for you!

I used a couple of the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the Basic Black and Balmy Blue layers.  Then the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder was used to add texture to the blue layer.  For even more interest I decided to use the two swirly dies cut into the blue so the black layer peeks through.

I often gravitate to my Stampin' Blends for coloring, and this unique Christmas card was no different.  The blends I used here were Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Pumpkin Pie, and Crumb Cake.

Here's a few more Christmas card designs using a bird for your inspiration.

Be sure to stop back here next Sunday for the next Christmas Card Sunday project.  If we work on these every week we'll have our homemade Christmas cards done in no time!
