Black and White Handmade Card for Friend; Make a Butterfly Card

Black and White Handmade Card - www.Stamp4Joy.com

I made this black and white handmade card for a friend of mine whose birthday is early next month. I don't know why, but I absolutely LOVE black and white greeting cards!

I grabbed a couple of the incredible paper patterns featured in the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper ($11.00 value). You can pick up this gorgeous collection of 12″ x 12″ paper FOR FREE during Sale-A-Bration with just a $50 order.

I debated coloring in the larger butterfly featured on the top of the card and decided not to do that this time. What do you think? I/m sure it would have been beautiful that way, too.

The card sentiment came from the Beautiful You stamp set, which you can pick up as wood-mount or clear-mount. I used my Big Shot and the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies to cut it out, and added a few dainty, elegant Pearls. The Rich Razzleberry 1/4″ Velvet Ribbon added some soft texture and a splash of color.
