Birthday Cards for Him or Her
You can design fabulous birthday cards for him using the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper, which was obviously created with the idea of making handmade cards for men, but the more generic patterns could be suitable for feminine cards, too!
The patterns in this collection have a very tailored and sophisticated look, there's nothing frilly of foo-foo about them! Still, the rich color palette could be used for feminine cards, too.
This handmade card idea could be used for any occasion. I love the plush texture the Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon adds to it.
The greeting came from the Epic Celebrations stamp set, which you can pick up absolutely free with an order of $50 or more in my Online Store. It comes either with wood blocks or you can get the version to use on clear blocks.
I used Night of Navy ink to stamp the greeting. Using my Big Shot and one of the ovals from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies I cut it out, and then cut out a larger oval in Night of Navy card stock from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.
