Birthday Card For a Friend; Manic Monday Challenge

Birthday Card for a Friend - Stamp4Joy.com

I made this birthday card for a friend for this week's Manic Monday Challege project.  It features a few products from the lovely Hues of Happiness Suite Collection.

Manic Monday is where we look for inspiration in the current  Stampin' Up! catalogs.  Today's creative selection came from Page 41 of the January to April 2023 Mini Catalog.

You can find all current catalogs HERE.

The influence for today's card can be seen in the photo to the right.  It's the green card in the upper left corner.

I decided to change it up a bit and made my card a regular 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ size.  I started with a white base.  Then I cut a white mat at 2-1/2″ x 5-5/8″ which I dry embossed using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder for some texture.

A few flowers and leaves were die cut from one of the beautiful papers in the Hues of Happiness Designer Paper pack and glued across the front.

To finish this card I stamped happy birthday in Melon Mambo ink from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and cut with it out with a banner die from Stylish Shapes.  I used a few Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the card sentiment across the front.

The next time you're looking for ideas to make a birthday card for a friend but everything seems to come out just humdrum, just grab your Stampin' Up! catalog for inspiration!
