It's time to start thinking about your Mothers Day card ideas. You don't always have to create fancy and intricate, time-consuming cards. A clean and simple card can be just as beautiful and doesn't have to be boring!
Here I used a couple smaller strips of Typeset Designer Paper to set off the stamped images. You can get more bang for your buck with your papers by using smaller pieces here and there rather than on the whole background.
A lovely Very Vintage Designer Button threaded with some Linen Thread compliments the flower and greeting stamp from Mother's Love. I stamped the flower stamps directly on the grid paper, a very cool technique you can use on just about any patterned paper that is subtle and fairly open. The colors used were Melon Mambo and Old Olive.
Of course, this card would also make a wonderful birthday card idea and would work for just about any occasion, not just Mothers Day.
