This birthday card for a friend uses the awesome set from the Occasions Catalog, Butterfly Basics.  Believe it or not, I actually bought this set in the bundle, which includes the Butterflies Thinlits Dies, but I've had so much fun just using these stamps that I haven't gotten around to playing with the thinlits yet.  I love this set!

The different paper patterns came from the Typeset Specialty Designer Paper Collection.  You can't go wrong with black and white!  Or in this case, black and vanilla. 🙂

I colored in the flowers and leaves with my Blendabilities.  I used some very pretty Venetian Crochet Trim for a touch more texture and elegance.

  1. Could you tell me what colors you used for the flowers and leaves and also where you used dimentionals? I love this card! TYFS

    1. Hi, Carol! I used a variety of Blendabilites to color the leaves and flowers, and I’m sorry, I can’t remember exactly what colors were used… probably Wild Wasabi on the leaves. I know I began with Daffodil Delight on the flowers, but I’m not sure where I went after that. I love to experiment. 🙂 The dimensionals were used behind the flower piece and the greeting piece. Hope that helps.
