Create an Elegant Begonia Belle Thank You Card
When I finally sat down to create this Begonia Belle thank you card, I couldn't believe I had waited so long to use this beautiful stamp set. The Begonia Belle Stamp Set is the July Product of the Month. The images are elegant, the two-step stamping is simple, and the results look much more detailed than the effort required.
I stamped the large begonia blooms with Bubble Bath and Barely Blush for a soft, romantic look. Soft Sea Foam was used for the leaves, which gives the flowers just enough contrast without overpowering them.
The small buds and leaf in the lower right corner were stamped directly onto the cardstock layer. I stamped the larger flowers and leaves separately, fussy cut them, and attached them with a mix of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals. That little bit of dimension helps the flowers become the focal point of the design.
The sentiment is also included in the Begonia Belle Stamp Set. I stamped it in black and added a narrow Basic Black mat behind the focal panel. That simple border ties everything together and balances the black sentiment beautifully.
To finish the card I added a few delicate Hydrangea Hue Butterflies. They were simply what I had the most of, but I love the subtle pop of color they add.
