I've been on a kick of fun, clean, and simple card making lately. I don't know why, but simple and easy handmade cards have been on my mind. Does that ever happen to you? There's just something so satisfying about creating something beautiful with minimal effort. Plus, it's a great way to unwind and let your creativity flow without feeling overwhelmed.
Today I want to share with you a card that perfectly embodies the essence of fun, clean, and simple. Apart from being quick and easy, this card is all about gold! Who doesn't love a touch of elegance and luxury in their creations?
The adorable little envelope and the note inside were cut from a couple of the gorgeous paper patterns featured in the beautiful Nature's Sweetness 12″ x 12″ Designer Paper collection.
For the sentiment I turned to the charming Notes of Nature stamp set. To keep with the theme the sentiment was embossed in gold, adding a touch of sophistication to the card. A die from the Give it a Whirl Dies set was used to cut it out.
I glued the tiny envelope and card sentiment to the front of the 3-3/4″ x 5″ layer of Basic White Cardstock and then adhered it to a slightly larger piece of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. The result? A stunning card that's not only visually appealing, but also incredibly easy to make.
