The flowers from Painted Poppies was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink across a strip of Whisper White card stock. Then I used the two spatter stamps to stamp in Poppy Parade ink. The color was too intense, so I stamped off twice on scratch paper before stamping directly over the image. What an easy way to apply the color without taking the time to color in each flower! It was layered onto some Poppy Parade card stock, and then attached toward the top of the card front.

The card greeting came from the Peaceful Moments. This versatile set contains a nice variety of sentiments to make birthday cards, thank you cards, and even sympathy cards. It also includes card sayings you can use on the inside of your cards if you want.
In this case I grabbed the Happy Birthday stamp and embossed it in white on black card stock. I attached it near the lower right-hand corner using a few Stampin' Dimensionals.
A few Peaceful Poppies Sequins were added to the card and greeting for a little fun.
