I think the leaves on this Gorgeously Made thank you card look like jewels! It was a happy accident that I came up with this. I planned on using the other side of the paper, but when I went to separate it from the die I saw these beautiful jewels and fell in love!
But I'm jumping ahead of myself. Let's start from the beginning.
To begin with I embossed a layer of white cardstock with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder to create the textured background.
Everything else I used to create this thank you card came from the Masterfully Made Suite Collection. Of course, I started with the exquisite Masterfully Made 12″ x 12″ Designer Paper. They are just gorgeous! I had intended on cutting the leaves from the Fresh Freesia patterned paper, which I did, but as I said,
when I saw the back side I just loved it! So that's the side i have showing on the card.
The thank you sentiment came from the Gorgeously Made stamp set. I stamped on white using Copper Clay ink, and then mounted it on a die cut also from the Gorgeously Made Dies.
For the final touch I attached some Jute Trim in the Moody Mauve color, which I first feathered out into wispy strands. Then I added a few coordinating Dots around the leaves.
A simple thank you card with lots of texture.
