Pretty Simple Cards; Easy Card Making

You can make some pretty simple cards — what I call S.I.P (stamp, ink, paper) — in a jiffy.

You'll find everything included on this simple card listed below.  Just click on the link for more information:

To make these pretty simple cards start off by using a few snippets of designer paper.  Here I grabbed some

scraps from a few of the patterns included in the Perfectly Penciled collection.  I layered them over some Basic Black squares of the same size, offsetting them to help make them stand out.  I cut all of the squares to 1-1/4″ x 1-1/4″ each.

These black-and-white paper patterns are very versatile!  Use them as is or color them in with your markers, Stampin' Blends, or even your watercolor pencils!  Here's an example of a handmade card highlighting the Perfectly Penciled Designer Paper where I added some color to the pattern design with my Stampin' Blends.

The greeting card sentiment came from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.
