You can make a simple Christmas card and crank out as many as you need in no time at all. And just because it's a clean and simple design doesn't mean your homemade card has to be boring, either.
Here I started with a card base of Soft Suede Cardstock. I cut the next layer at 1/2″ less than the base to stamp on.
Star of Light was the stamp set I selected because of the larger snowflake/star image, but any large snowflake stamp or other image you have on hand will do. The card sentiment came from the same set. You can find this retired Stampin' Up! stamp set on my Retired Rubber Stamps Page. The images included in the stamp set are shown below.
I heat embossed the snowflake/star and card greeting using White Stampin' Emboss Powder. A simple pearl was added to the middle of the snowflake, and then the stamped layer was affixed to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
You could make a simple Christmas card for even less time and money by simply eliminating the top layer and stamping and embossing directly on the card base.
