I went old school on this funny friendship card by stamping the background myself. Remember when we had to do that? Now we have all these beautiful designer papers and embossing folders, but there was a time when we would often make our own backgrounds. Well, it still works!
It's very subtle, but I stamped the leaves from Sheltering Tree in Sahara Sand ink on Sahara Sand card stock. Just enough to give the card base a bit of texture and interest so as not to look so plain, yet not enough to take away from the cat and his new friend 😉 which came from the new stamp set Sitting Here.
The Peekaboo Peach Card Stock adds a pop of color. I also did some watercoloring on the bird using a Blender Pen and the new Peekaboo Peach Classic Ink.
