Very Vintage Greeting Cards

Inspirational Greeting Cards: Very VintageI can't remember the last time I picked up a wheel and used it for making homemade greeting cards.  I would venture it's been at least a year!  I don't know why because they can make really quick backgrounds or even be used as the main element for your handmade card ideas.

Even though Stampin' up! is retiring Vintage Vogue (w-117690/c-118598), they are leaving the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel (117693) in the catalog so I'm happy!  To me it evokes a feeling of tranquility all on its own.

I used Sahara Sand, Early Espresso, and Baja Breeze card stock and Early Espresso ink.  I added the greeting from Elements of Style (w-118611/c-120045) and punched it out using the Modern Label Punch.   I did a little sponging in Early Espresso and Baja Breeze to highlight some of the images and around the edges, but that's it!  Quick & easy, just my style!  And I was able to even get a little aggression out while tearing the edge! 😉
