I decided to create some uncle birthday cards using this month's Paper Pumpkin kit.
With the Paper Pumpkin kit-of-the-month club you receive a fully designed project kit complete with stamps, ink, and paper each month. Everything's even pre-cut for you so you can jump right into the stamping!
Usually you'll have supplies left over to use on other project designs you might come up with, but this month I decided to have some fun designing alternative craft projects with my kit.
Here I cut off the larger lattice cut-out design and trimmed it down to fit on the card front. I trimmed off another piece to complete the front, stamped it in Dapper Denim ink with a stamp from the Timeless Textures stamp set (wood, clear), and mounted them both on a piece of Dapper Denim card stock, one of the new In Colors coming in the new Stampin' Up! catalog.
Guy Greetings (wood, clear, photopolymer) was used to create the banner and stamp the “UNCLE” on the circle. This is a wonderful set for all the occasions you need to design cards for the men in your life.
I added a little Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon and a few pearls along the bottom of the focal piece. I hope he likes it!
