February is when the tropical card ideas start popping into my head with more frequency. How about you? Winter dreams of a balmy, beachy vacation! Boy, do I miss Hawaii in the chilly wintertime!
I created this sweet little vignette by first cutting the parameters of my display using a die from the Layering Diorama collection. I think these are perfect for creating scenes for your card making!
The Oceanfront stamp set was used for the background. Instead of one ink color I applied ink with two Stampin' Write Markers on the bottom stamp. I think the Coastal Cabana and Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Markers creates beautiful sand and water. The sky was stamped in Balmy Blue ink.
I used the Paradise Palms Bundle to continue with the tropical theme. I created the palm trees using the stamps and dies included in the bundle. The card greeting and die cut came from it, too.
Fair warning: You'll probably notice a few more tropical card ideas pop up over the next month or two while I dream of someplace warm and breezy! 🙂
