I seem to be going to the Wonderland stamp set and Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Paper collection a lot for my Stampin' Up Christmas cards this year. I love those trees and sentiments!
Honestly, if you have a very limited budget and want to make homemade Christmas cards, I'd get those two items and a packet of Basic Black and Whisper White card stock. You can't go wrong! With your investment of a little over $50 (before s&h and tax) you'd have enough to make about 80 Christmas cards. That's less than $1 per card!
I love using card sketches to start off my card designs, and this one began with the sketch over at i Love Card Sketches this week. When you're using a sketch it's not necessary to follow it exactly, but instead use it as a jumping off point. I decided to change up the design a little bit this time. As I was designing my card I decided I wanted the greeting to be along the edge, and so I didn't have room for the flab so I left it off. I still think it looks great. What do you think?
You can find all the items I used to make this card below. Have a great day!
